As part of a property portfolio review for Charteris we showed how an under-utilised office building could become a realisable asset rather than an uneconomic liability through a change of use although previous agent advise indicated that planning permission would not be achievable.

Set within an Area of Outstanding Beauty in the Cotswolds and within the Northleach Conservation Area we sensitively redesigned the building for residential use and secured town planning approval through detailed negotiations.

We subsequently led the successful Appeal to the Planning Inspectorate on behalf of Charteris against the refusal to develop the adjacent car park site, further increasing the asset value to our client.
